Shipping Area
We ship worldwide from Munich. The EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway and the US can be ordered directly at checkout. Shipping costs and delivery times depend on the item and destination. For delivery to any other country, or for larger pieces, please contact hello@ofmatter.co before ordering. Customs duties and import taxes outside the EU are the responsibility of the customer.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been received and the contract has been concluded. Processing times may be longer for large, heavy, or fragile items requiring special packaging or handling.
Shipping Methods
Depending on the size, weight, and nature of the item, orders are shipped using one of the following services:
- DHL / DHL Paket
- DPD
- UPS
- FedEx
- Freight forwarding or local courier services for large or bulky items
The selected shipping method will be shown during checkout or communicated to you prior to dispatch for larger items.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are non-binding estimates and may vary depending on destination, carrier, and external factors (e.g. high demand periods or logistical delays). We do not guarantee specific delivery dates. For consumers, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration passes upon delivery of the goods.
Furniture and Large Items
Large or heavy items, including furniture, are typically delivered to the curbside (street level) unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing. Curbside delivery means that the item is delivered to the nearest accessible point at the delivery address. Transport into the building, upper floors, or assembly is not included. Additional services such as in-home delivery, assembly, or packaging removal are only provided if explicitly agreed in advance.
Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged or if you receive an incorrect item, we kindly ask you to contact us as soon as possible and provide clear photographs of the item and packaging so we can assess the issue and arrange a solution. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For shipments within the European Union, no customs duties apply. For shipments to the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the US and any other destination outside the EU, customs duties, import taxes and any additional fees charged by local authorities are the responsibility of the customer and are not refunded in the event of a return.
