Teak and Copper Ceiling Light

Teak and Copper Ceiling Light

A sculptural ceiling lamp from the late 1960s or 1970s, built around the warm contrast of teak, copper and softly diffused light. Slender vertical teak elements form an open cylindrical cage around the shade, creating a strong architectural rhythm while allowing glimpses of the light within.

The copper detailing introduces a quieter metallic note, echoed in the small conical pull switch suspended at the side. Substantial without feeling heavy, the lamp sits somewhere between functional lighting and a piece of small-scale architecture.
