A larger cast metal vide-poche by David Marshall, shaped as an elongated, softly undulating vessel. The aluminium body is overlaid with warm brass across the rim and upper surface, forming an irregular boundary that moves around the object rather than following a fixed line.
Its interior is divided into two rounded recesses, giving the piece a generous, almost double-lobed form. Subtle marks, variations in tone and traces of the casting process remain visible throughout, reinforcing the tension between its weighty material presence and its fluid outline.
