A pair of Scandinavian brass candleholders, each shaped as a stylised bird with an elongated neck supporting a copper candle cup. Resting on circular copper drip trays, the design brings together two metals that have aged differently over time, allowing the warm brass and softly oxidised copper to complement one another.
The birds are reduced to clean, flowing silhouettes, with only a few engraved lines suggesting feathers and movement. Symmetrical when displayed together yet expressive on their own, they balance playfulness with restraint in a way characteristic of mid-century Scandinavian design.
