Modernist Brass Ashtray
Cast in solid brass, this modernist ashtray reduces its function to a series of clean geometric planes. Four notched corners punctuate the square form, while the substantial weight of the brass gives the piece a quiet sense of permanence. Time has left an uneven patina across the surface, softening its precision and adding depth to the warm metal.
