Brutalist Pewter Box

€160.00

Produced by Oslo Metall in Norway during the mid twentieth century, this pewter box balances a heavily textured exterior with a smooth, wood-lined interior. The rough-cast surface reflects the sculptural language of the Brutalist movement, while the warm timber lining introduces an unexpected softness.

Over time, the pewter has developed a muted grey patina that gently softens the texture without obscuring it. The result is an object that feels substantial in the hand yet remarkably restrained in its expression.
